The George Lab is presenting its latest findings at the Society for Neuroscience meeting in Chicago.

 The festivities starts on Saturday with Dr. de Guglielmo who will be presenting a Poster (50.04/F19) entitledd "Inactivation of CeA neuronal ensembles prevents alcohol drinking in dependent and non dependent rats".

On Sunday, Dr. George will be giving a lecture (190.06) entitled "The dark side within: VTA CRF neurons mediate the negative reinforcing effects of relief from nicotine abstinence".

Finally, on Monday, Dr. Kallupi will be presenting a poster (313.07/I32) entitled "Activation of the dynorphin-kappa system in the central nucleus of the amygdala mediates the negative emotional state of nicotine withdrawal but not escalation of nicotine intake".
