Congratulations to Estefania!

Estefania is an undergraduate student from the University of California San Diego who will spend the entire summer working in the George Lab at The Scripps Research Institute to investigate the neurobiological mechanisms responsible for alcohol and tobacco addiction.

The NIDA Summer Internship Program is a highly competitive program funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse to introduce high school and undergraduate students from underrepresented populations to substance abuse research through internships with NIDA funded scientists at universities across the United States.
